Saeng Il Chuka Hae, Wookie!

It’s been a while eh? The thing about having so many and too many ILUS, forgetting is inevitable. But of course, having been a fan of Wookie for so many years (7 years!), I cannot possibly not remember his big day, the day he was born! ^^

I’ve been quite outdated and slow on his news recently, apart from checking his baidu bar weibo for updates and stuff (and not doing anything about it like before, perhaps I’ve grown older to know better fandom is overrated), I’ve pretty much been the neglectful fan. But it’s good to know that he’s doing great MC-ing for Strong Heart, read comments here and there about people appreciating the heart and life he brings to the show, and am so happy and proud for him. He can be a bit cold and deadpan, sometimes a bit taciturn, sometimes a tad tacky, but I like that he’s giving it all, he’s trying his best in something new and challenging to him. The show might not be able to reach heights achieved by the Hodong-Seung Gi tandem, but I believe he will be able to find a niche of his in this field.

Here’s wishing him a happy wonderful 31st Birthday (32nd in Korean) and a soaring career ahead! Saranghae Oppa! ❤ ❤

A reminiscence of one of Wookie’s more emotionally heartfelt dramas, Scent of a Woman with the awesome Kim Sun Ah. Drama may not have ended up a fav of mine (some sappy and over-wrought writing towards the end threw me off), but there’s no denying it had one of the more endearing OTP relationships ever. And not to mention, one of the more sexiness-charged dances ever shown on TV *I nearly drowned*.

Scent of a Woman! Can you stop melting my heart into puddles already?!!

Just when I thought nothing could ever touch JW and YJ’s tango scene in Ep 8 (the intensity, the gripping sexual and sensual chemistry..ooolala.. my heart pounds even as I type!), drama releases some more eye-grabbing stills to pique my interest.

Bike scenes are a commonplace in Korean drama (most recent? Heartstrings?). But never have I seen (in my entire life of watching K-drama) and never would I have expected a bike scene to be shot that way o_0.

My first reaction was, ermmmm… it must have been difficult for Wookie. Second reaction? That’s just major major major MAJOR sweetness! Gah, kill me already! XD

Can Wookie and Sunah get ever more GORGEOUS and CHUMMY together? Can they?!   I’ve been a fan of Wookie for years, and for years I’ve never seen him update as often and as much now. And not only does he update so ever constantly, he makes me squeeeee so hard over his oh-so-adorable selcas with Sunah and drives me up the insanity wall with  occasional flashes of his post-army BOD. Sunah, I blame you for getting Wookie into this me2day fever. I blame you for getting me into a jealous frenzy whenever I see you and Wookie be so cute around each other. I blame you for all the Wookie cuteness and hotness. But really, you know what I truly wanna say. “THANK YOU! I LOVE YOU!!!”

Scent of a Woman OTP beautifies Okinawa

Omo, my heart!

Mind my continuous blabs and ranting on Scent of A Woman, sometimes I just can’t be stopped when it comes to my ILU Wookie. hehehe..

I have nothing much to say in this post except that Wookie and KSA look absolutely great together in the stills! Wookie has grown meatier and buffer (and somehow a bit taller?!) and KSA is just GORGEOUS. If looks could kill, I’d have been dead by now.

I was initially worried about how they’d fare together as a couple and all, but when I read about how close and chummy they got immediately after filming together, my worries went away instantly.  From KSA’s surprise army discharge army cake to her wacky and zany SELCAs with Wookie, I can’t be more assured that she’ll create wonderful chemistry with Wookie. She’s just that good.

Just love it when actors in a project get along well with each other. Just look at Wookie and KSA up there. How long have they been filming together? A week? 2 weeks? But then it looks like they’re already pretty close and chummy with each other? Naming each other Prince and Princess? Awwwww…..

Oh wellz, Wookie has always been known to get along pretty well with his female co-stars in the past (LDH isn’t a question, then Park Si Yeon and Kim Hyun Joo right after). It’s not surprising he’s already warmed up to Kim Sun Ah’s quirks. ^^
