So oppa-fied by Suju’s Oppa, Oppa!

I’m kinda like obsessed with this song right now?! haha XD I’m not a Suju fan or anything, but I just so happened to come across this song on TV last night, and immediately mah attention and eyes went all  transfixed on the song, dance and the crazy ajummma hair pama.

The song has been on replay for I-dunno-how-many-friggin-times. It’s just SO ADDICTIVE! I even had the urge to reveal all my ugly dance moves in front of mah parents.. lol

===

My friend is getting married this Friday, and there’s this Chinese tradition thingy in our country – whereby so called sista bridesmaids of the bride will have to get the groom and his buddies to brave through 4-5 barriers (in terms of games) to reach the bride’s door.  These barriers can range to anything from the impossible to the most impossible – disgusting acts, eating gross stuff, dancing and singing (in ways that one would NEVER ever attempt in public)..etc.

Few GFs of mine we together have been put in charge of the DANCING segment. XD And we have been racking and cracking our brains up and down to get a song sighs. We were almost set on SNSD’s Gee, knowing how hilarious it’d be seeing them acting all girly and sweet doing the dance. But now, this song is so getting to me that I am tempted. To do away with Gee and get them to dance to Oppa,Oppa instead~~

I’m thinking about crazy ajumma hair props, sunglasses and probably some crazy make-up on them?

What do you think? Am I getting ahead of myself just cos I’m addicted to this song? haha xD

Lee Da Hae and her Weibo frenzies

Ahhh, great news today.

News reported today that Lee Da Hae has just signed up with a new agency Forest Star! Weeeeeee~~~ Not that I’m familiar with this management company or that it has plenty of other huge stars or hunks I can pair her up with, but I’m just glad she’s found a place to settle down for good. :) Since she has always yearned to break into the Chinese market, so hopefully her new company, which apparently also has Jung Seok Won (Kim Je Ha in Ojakgyo Bros?) attached and is deemed to be quite a renowned company responsible for marketing celebrities in China, will be able to help her achieve her dreams in making it big in China. I used to be very wary and uncomfortable with Korean stars venturing into foreign markets, especially China, but now I’m totally fine with it (save for the drama dubbing part, but that’s inevitable). As long as I get to see her on TV, or on anything, CFs or whatever, I’m all good. ^^

Wild Romance: Cutest confession EVER!

Park Yeon Seon, ahhhhh, you blow my MIND! That cliffhanger at the end of WR14, just made me o______0.

Yes, it’s totally sinking in. T__T Wild Romance is ending in 2 days, and I’m sulking bad now because I know that I won’t have Mu Yeol and Eun Jae to laugh along with anymore, no more Robot Manager and quirky Dong Ah to make me roll on the floor, and no more Dong Soo/Soo Young/Reporter Go/and cutie Chuno prince Woo Young. :( The only good thing about parting ways with WR is that I don’t have to see Granny Jong Hee anymore.

Ep 13 and Ep 14 kicked major arse, with the various romance plots moving on full gear and with the stalker issue heightened to a climax that I’d totally expected, but was never fully prepared for it to still hit me so hard. But of all, I loved this scene the most:

Major CUTENESS overload!!! <333

Can I have my own Mu Yeol pleaseeeee? Pretty please?

I’d trade anything to be in Eun Jae’s place darn.

Music Focus: Hello To Myself by Kang Sora [Dream High 2]

I know I mentioned earlier that Dream High 2 isn’t really going anywhere for me. And yeap, it still isn’t blowing minds, breaking grounds or even doing great so far. The first 5 episodes were so disappointing that I kept asking myself why. WHY did I have to hang on this far, just because of this inexplicable crush I have for Jin Woon and when I don’t feel anything for the rest of the characters?

But sometimes it does happen. When a certain aspect or scene in a drama leaves you with such a deep impression that you can’t help but want to give it another chance. It could be something said, something done or even just a single expression. It could be a song.

And in Ep 6 of Dream High, I think I’ve found something to hang on to, a reason to give this drama another chance. It’s certainly not Dream High (and is no where near it’s level yet). But Hye Sung’s underdog story is starting to pick up better (maybe cos of the writer change?), and I found myself wanting to see how much further she can go, as a singer and a performer. The annoyance I felt from her character lessened significantly in this episode as she showed a more dialed down and emotional performance. Her lack of self confidence still bothers me, but there’s no denying that it makes me want to see her break thru her barriers and succeed EVEN more. I know Kang Sora can do confident for sure, so I cannot wait until she breathes that air of confidence into Hye Sung.

The song “Hello To Myself” she sang in Ep 6 showed that Hye Sung isn’t just one without blind dreams. She just needs the right confidence to show it.
