Ahhh, kids kids KIDS! They always make me go gooey awwwwy lovey dovey whatever that means, warm me cockles of my heart, I can’t even look at them at not break into wide blushy smiles. Even crybabies, they make me wanna hug them squish them and tuck them into embrace (Min Guk there you go!). I’m such a softie at heart. I really am. I really am a no go, a loser when it comes to a contest with kids, younglings nowadays that can even be more shockingly adult the adult us. What gives huh.

Revisit stress free heaven

My brain is severely fried from all the work related stress. Have never been this productive, and yet have never felt this dejected and thwarted.  I may have had it too easy in my early years of working life, I’ve never felt like this before – brain-fried and soul-sucked. I’ve been faced with continuous and non-stop problems at work the past 2 weeks, they’d been gushing in like the coming flow of the sea, they retired like the ebb but came gushing back in no time. It’s been a never-ending cycle, it’s making me crazy.

Then I realise I’m not the only one, 101% of the world out there are as balked and disheartened as myself. Fretting about the never-ending work load, the piling frustration of unresolved and unsolvable problems. Why am I complaining when I still get to go home at 7.30pm? What’s with me still getting an hour of drama when others are working their arses off to impress the next day? Such a whiner I am :/

You must think I’m overreacting, yea maybe I am. But the only thing that keeps me sanity hanging by the thread, ILICDD ILICDD ILICDD.

And occasionally when even ILICDD doesn’t work, I turn to this.

Oh how I miss you show. And Lee Min Ki.

So long, Farewell 2012.

2012, it’s coming to an end, how time rocketed by. We rejoiced and we laughed, we survived the test of what we thought would be the end of all ends. It’s been a year of bad as much as it was one with full of good and lovelies.  I look back and I think of all the beautiful and lovely stuff that I’ve been blessed with, family, friends and the awesome year of dramas and films. I look back and I think of all those who failed to make it, but lived colorful and beautiful lives up until to their very last breathe. I thank God for the every single good that have been cherished upon me, and I pray for those who have yielded in suffering, but with strength and courage.

So as I tread carefully towards the new year, of unknown and challenges, here’s me wishing all of you a wonderful Happy New Year 2013, and me bidding farewell to a year of good, bad, fruitful and eventful. Let us all rawk 2013 like how we lived and rawked 2012!

One of the most touching farewells I’ve seen this year, thanks to the Family Choir of Qualifications of Men 😉

ADIOS & SEE YA ALL NEXT YEAR!

Uhm Tae Woong’s Star Date + INDIAN CF

Uhm Force Uhm Tae Woong is a one of a kind actor/celebrity. On screen he’s usually scruff gruff and tough playing the cool and going-all-out guy. But off screen? He’s just totally utterly ADORBS. He’s shy, sweet, earthy and is just about one of the most modestly unassuming celebrity I have ever seen. Too bad I don’t watch 1N2D on a regular basis, but I’m sure fans of the show are more than willing to be a testament to his uber cuteness. The last I read (on DB), people are actually complaining that he’s not hitched yet! LOL Tae Woong ah, perhaps you should take action now? *hints: Su Ae*

I just got done with Mawang recently, in which UTW had given a solid performance playing the guilt stricken Kang Oh Su seeking for redemption. Did some searching and found some pure (and recent) UTW cuteness floating around.

If you ever need to redefine adorable.

Immortal Song 2: Hong Kyung Min’s Little Lovers

Immortal Song 2 is such a daebak daebak show! I love it so much, you have no idea. I get so high listening to the modern renditions of the oldies. Sometimes I sit in silence and tears after a performance. And worse still, sometimes I get goosebumps all over from listening that I have no idea how to react, brain in total blankness.

I’ve already raved incessantly about the show in earlier posts so I’m not gonna bore you with the same ol’ all over again. Instead, I’m gonna show you one of my favourite-est performances from the show, if not my favourite-est and the best I’ve seen, Hong Kyung Min‘s rendition of Jo Yong Pil‘s Little Lovers.

Music Focus: Random on Idol Talents

Music time!

Immortal Song 2 is a very interesting show. I don’t tune in every week, but when I do, it’s almost always a treat and song-fest for me. I always sit in awe and enjoyment watching the singers deliver singing performances with so much intensity and emotion. There are times when I’d sink in dilemma, whereby I’d clap so hard for one, and root so hard for another. There are times when I’d just watch them go all out and tears would just start streaming down my cheeks. There are even times when I’d just have no words.

The concept isn’t new, with idol singers/members from idol groups pitting against each other with their (surprisingly) strong and solid vocals for a winning victory in the end. But what’s so alluring and meaningful about this show is that not only does it pay tribute to those legendary and old-time singers featured, it also opens our eyes to a mass of talented and solid idol singers who’re mostly either buried unnoticed in their individual groups or those who’re so underrated (or not so good looking) that they just go unnoticed all the time. It gives us an insight into their heart, enthusiasm and passion they have for singing and music. And most importantly, their growth and progress in becoming real singers, singers of their own worth.

And thanks to this show, I’ve discovered a bunch of really good and talented youngsters who come from extremely popular idol singing groups, but whom I’d never paid attention to before the show. People rant about how K-pop is so overrated and how those singers can’t sing to save their lives..etc. I used to be one of them.

But perhaps not so much anymore now?

Happy Together with Baby-Faced Beauty Cast + Ep 11 Preview

Awwww…. how cute are they? Sister power rulez~!! (If So Jin were a lil more mature and understanding in the drama…)

And Jang Nara, I have no idea how she manages to look 18. She’s already 31 years old! 0_O

More BFB goodies after the jump!

Lee Da Hae and Kim Hee Chul are SISTERZ!

SHOOOOOOO CUTE!

This really made my day a better day. =D I’m suffering from an internet line-cut and it’s frustrating me out because I can’t download anything, have my Drunken To Love You Ep 4 fix, and most of all, I cannot post anything about it. I’m currently hogging someone’s line (done secretly and discreetly so hush sssshhhhh ok?) and all I can view are short clips! *)&)(&(#_*_)#*_$*_)#*)#*)_*)## *kill me now!*

But you know anything Lee Da Hae gets me up and excited right? She just did an interview hosted by MBC Section “Rising Star” segment, which totally got me into HYPER mode! She may not be the nation’s favourite girl, but she’s definitely still the LDH I know from before (since My Girl 2005). The goofy and playful oddball who just loves to have fun and have a great laugh.

The whole interview spans about 12 mins. How I wish I had put my 12 years of K-drama watching to use sighs… cos I didn’t really get what they were saying. >.< I got the last part (thanks to Hee Chul fans) but I really really want to know what she said thruout the interview. Anyone, if anyone could just translate, I’m going to be OH SO ETERNALLY GRATEFUL!

Check out the SISTERZ

The Ripley Sisters in Action…

at the VIP screening of Goodbye Miss Ripley co-star Kim Seung Woo‘s new movie “I am a Daddy“. Awwww… how CUTE of them!

It looks like Da Hae has bonded well with her on-screen sister in Ripley played by the ever charismatic and glowing mommy Kang Hye Jung. She has even taught Kang momma her signature Yoo Rin gesture, BBASYA!

If anything, I’m just happy that Da Hae is getting along well with her co-stars and is all smiles. She needs all the fun and goof she can get. =D If Micky was there, it’d have been a perfect!

More pics from the screening:

I think Da Hae has lost weight again!?! Her face obviously shows as she looked chubbier in her last event appearance. I hope the filming of Ripley doesn’t wear her down too much. If anything, her man Micky is an even busier guy. (He IS the one who needs to rest I think).

But on other stuff, I love her whole chic get-up (if only she wasn’t this skinny) and BAG!!! Arrhhh.. girl is damn rich huh?

Mommy Kang on other hand, COOL!
